Minnesota High School Basketball - Farmington overwhelms Apple Valley
February 8, 2022: Farmington, MN 55024 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Farmington Tigers (Farmington, MN) and the visiting Apple Valley Eagles (Apple Valley, MN), saw Farmington's basketball squad wallop Apple Valley by a count of 72-32.
With the victory, Farmington upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN) to play the Lakers in a AAAA Section 2 challenge on Friday, February 11. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 7-13. Prior Lake lost 80-60 in their recent league challenge against Shakopee (Shakopee, MN)
Next up, the Eagles play the Eagan Wildcats (Eagan, MN) in a AAAA Section 3 challenge, on Friday, February 11. Apple Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 61-42 league win over Burnsville (Burnsville, MN).
