The Academy of the New Church Lions (Bryn Athyn, PA) basketball felled the visiting Friends Select (Philadelphia, PA), 68-55 in Tuesday's league test.

The Lions (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Perkiomen School (Pennsburg, PA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record.

The now own a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Pennington for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 18. Friends Select will encounter a Red Raiders squad coming off a 58-47 non-league win over Academy at Palumbo (Philadelphia, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 7-6.
