In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Academy of the New Church Lions (Bryn Athyn, PA) basketball squad felled the visiting Friends Select (Philadelphia, PA), by a margin of 63-49.

The Lions (17-4) will now prepare for their outing against George School (Newtown, PA). The Cougars go into the Friends Schools outing with a 19-6 record. In their last outing, George School thwarted Westtown (West Chester, PA), 70-39, in a non-league outing.
