The Archbishop Carroll Lions basketball team scored 79 points and held the host The Heights to 68 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paul VI for a VISAA Division I contest on Friday, January 20. Archbishop Carroll will battle a Panthers team coming off a 94-45 league win over Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 16-1.

The (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Gonzaga (Washington, DC). The Eagles enter the DCSAA AA contest with a 16-1 record. In their last contest, Gonzaga was defeated by Woodside (Newport News, VA), 82-73, in a non-league contest.
