Maryland High School Basketball - St. Mary's Ryken trounced by Bishop McNamara
January 17, 2023: Forestville, MD 20747 The Bishop McNamara Mustangs routed the visiting St. Mary's Ryken Knights basketball team by a final score of 56-35 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) in a Washington Catholic game, on Thursday, January 19. Bishop McNamara will attempt to move on its 15-3 season record. The Falcons enter the game with a 12-5 record after their 80-75 non-league win over Potter's House Christian (Jacksonville, FL).
With the defeat, St. Mary's Ryken moves to 6-11 on the year. The Knights travel to St. John's (Washington, DC) to face the Cadets in a DCSAA AA game on Thursday, January 19. The Cadets enter the game with a record of 16-1. St. John's won 72-62 in their recent league game against DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD)
