The Bishop McNamara Mustangs basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host DeMatha Stags to 68 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paul VI for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Bishop McNamara will battle a Panthers team coming off a 70-57 league win over Gonzaga (Washington, DC). The Panthers record now stands at 20-1.

The Stags (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against Gonzaga (Washington, DC). The Eagles come into the DCSAA AA contest with a 18-3 record. In their last contest, Gonzaga was nudged by Paul VI (Chantilly, VA), 70-57, in a league contest.
