Oregon High School Basketball - Salem Academy thwarts Gervais
January 17, 2023: Gervais, OR 97026 The Salem Academy Crusaders (Salem, OR) basketball knocked off the host Gervais Cougars (Gervais, OR), 61-50 in Tuesday's league test.
The Crusaders (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Regis (Stayton, OR). The Rams go into the 2A Tri-River test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Regis notched a victory over Willamina (Willamina, OR), 74-64, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Chemawa Indian for a 2A Tri-River test on Thursday, January 19.
