The Greenbrier West Cavaliers basketball team (Charmco, WV), was nudged 63-57 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV)

The Patriots now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoover for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 19. Midland Trail will confront a Huskies team coming off a 51-39 league win over Nitro (Nitro, WV). The Huskies record now stands at 6-5.
