The High Point Academy Grizzlies basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Southside Christian Sabres to 43 in the Grizzlies league victory on Tuesday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brashier Middle College Charter for a A Region 1 contest on Friday, January 20. High Point Academy will battle a Bengal team coming off a 79-44 non-league win over GREEN Upstate (Simpsonville, SC). The Bengal record now stands at 9-6.
The Sabres (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC). The Knights come into the A Region 1 contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, St. Joseph's Catholic was nudged by Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC), 51-30, in a league contest.
