February 7, 2023: Spartanburg, SC 29303 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the High Point Academy Grizzlies (Spartanburg, SC) and the visiting Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal (Simpsonville, SC), saw High Point Academy's basketball squad overcome Brashier Middle College Charter by a tally of 67-49.
With the victory, High Point Academy improves its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Calhoun County (St. Matthews, SC) to confront the Saints in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 16. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 14-5.
Next up, the Bengal confront the St. Joseph's Catholic Knights (Greenville, SC) in a A Region 1 challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Brashier Middle College Charter will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 34-33 league loss to Southside Christian (Simpsonville, SC).
