January 17, 2023: Thomaston, CT 06787 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT) and the visiting Housatonic-Wamogo Mountaineers (Falls Village, CT), saw Thomaston's basketball squad wallop Housatonic-Wamogo by a tally of 62-25.
With the victory, Thomaston improves its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 18. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Wolcott RVT won 65-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Vinal RVT (Middletown, CT)
Next up, the Mountaineers confront the Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. Housatonic-Wamogo will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 60-56 league win over Gilbert (Winsted, CT).
