January 17, 2023: Loving, NM 88256 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Jal Panthers (Jal, NM) and the host Loving Falcons (Loving, NM), saw Jal's basketball squad knock off Loving by a count of 57-42.
With the victory, Jal upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Dora (Dora, NM) to play the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Dora lost 58-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Tatum (Tatum, NM)
Next up, the Falcons play the Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM) in a 2A District 4 challenge, on Friday, January 20. Loving will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 76-58 league loss to Eunice (Eunice, NM).
