In Saturday's non-league match, the host New Mexico Military Institute Colts basketball team scored a decisive 53-28 triumph over the Loving Falcons.

In their next game, the Colts meet the Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 24. New Mexico Military Institute will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Rockets enter the match with a 9-10 record after their 55-42 non-league win over Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM).
