January 17, 2023: Arlington, TX 76002 In Tuesday's league outing, the Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Joshua Owls (Joshua, TX), by a count of 65-48.
The Cougars (12-12) will now prepare for their outing against Midlothian (Midlothian, TX). The Panthers go into the 5A Region I District 8 outing with a 19-7 record. In their last outing, Midlothian was topped by Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX), 55-51, in a league outing.
The Owls now hold a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Cleburne for a 5A Region I District 8 outing on Friday, January 20. Joshua will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 41-28 league loss to Seguin (Arlington, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 10-16.
