Texas High School Basketball - Midlothian tops Seguin
December 9, 2022: Arlington, TX 76002 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Midlothian Panthers (Midlothian, TX) and the host Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX), saw Midlothian's basketball squad knock off Seguin by a count of 57-42.
With the victory, Midlothian upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Cleburne (Cleburne, TX) to play the Yellowjackets in a 5A Region I District 8 challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Cleburne won 54-49 in their recent league challenge against Joshua (Joshua, TX)
Next up, the Cougars play the Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Seguin will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Elks come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 61-43 league loss to Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX).
