California High School Basketball - Nipomo overwhelms Santa Maria

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Nipomo Titans (Nipomo, CA) and the host Santa Maria Saints (Santa Maria, CA), saw Nipomo's basketball squad wallop Santa Maria by a tally of 78-51.

With the victory, Nipomo improves its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Titans host Orcutt Academy (Orcutt, CA) to confront the Spartans in a Ocean challenge on Friday, January 20. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 8-11. Orcutt Academy won 54-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Coast Union (Cambria, CA)

Next up, the Saints confront the Paso Robles Bearcats (Paso Robles, CA) in a Ocean challenge, on Friday, January 20. Santa Maria will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 56-36 league loss to Templeton (Templeton, CA).
