North Carolina High School Basketball - Southern Guilford crushes Northeast Guilford

January 17, 2023: McLeansville, NC 27301

Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC), 70-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Southern Guilford upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Storm travel to Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Uwharrie Charter won 61-54 in their recent non-league bout against Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC)

Next up, the Rams play the Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC) in a 3A Conference 46 bout, on Friday, January 20. Northeast Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-16 record after their 50-37 league loss to Dudley (Greensboro, NC).
