January 17, 2023: Upsala, MN 56384 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Osakis Silverstreaks (Osakis, MN) and the host Upsala Cardinals (Upsala, MN), saw Osakis's basketball squad wallop Upsala by a tally of 72-46.
With the victory, Osakis improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Silverstreaks travel to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (Long Prairie, MN) to confront the Thunder in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 20. The Thunder come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Long Prairie-Grey Eagle lost 77-74 in their recent league challenge against St. John's Prep (Collegeville, MN)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Pierz Pioneers (Pierz, MN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 19. Upsala will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Pioneers come into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 107-54 non-league loss to Albany (Albany, MN).
