Wisconsin High School Basketball - Rice Lake can't hold off Osceola
January 17, 2023: Rice Lake, WI 54868 The Osceola Chieftains basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Rice Lake Warriors to 55 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chieftains now sport a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Croix Central for a Middle Border contest on Friday, January 20. Osceola will battle a Panthers team coming off a 71-64 league win over Ellsworth (Ellsworth, WI). The Panthers record now stands at 7-5.
The Warriors (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Eau Claire North (Eau Claire, WI). The Huskies enter the Big Rivers contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Eau Claire North was nudged by D.C. Everest (Schofield, WI), 55-53, in a non-league contest.
