Wisconsin High School Basketball - Osceola tops Somerset
January 10, 2023: Somerset, WI 54025 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Osceola Chieftains (Osceola, WI) and the host Somerset Spartans (Somerset, WI), saw Osceola's basketball squad knock off Somerset by a tally of 68-57.
With the victory, Osceola improves its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Chieftains host Prescott (Prescott, WI) to play the Cardinals in a Middle Border challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 10-0. Prescott won 85-56 in their recent league challenge against Ellsworth (Ellsworth, WI)
Next up, the Spartans play the Amery Warriors (Amery, WI) in a Middle Border challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Somerset will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 77-55 non-league win over Webster (Webster, WI).
