Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Trinity Lutheran Cougars (Seymour, IN) and the visiting Rising Sun Shiners (Rising Sun, IN), saw Trinity Lutheran's basketball squad hold off Rising Sun by a tally of 69-65.

With the victory, Trinity Lutheran improves its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Cougars host Medora (Medora, IN) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 20. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Medora lost 66-39 in their recent non-league challenge against West Washington (Campbellsburg, IN)

Next up, the Shiners confront the Switzerland County Pacers (Vevay, IN) in a Ohio River Valley challenge, on Friday, January 20. Rising Sun will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Pacers come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 50-30 league loss to South Ripley (Versailles, IN).
