With the victory, Robert Lee upgrades its record to 10-13 on the campaign. The Steers host Blackwell (Blackwell, TX) to play the Hornets in a 1A Region II District 11 bout on Friday, January 20. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Blackwell lost 73-17 in their recent league bout against Garden City (Garden City, TX)
Next up, the Falcons play the Irion County Hornets (Mertzon, TX) in a 1A Region II District 11 bout, on Friday, January 20. Veribest will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 9-1 record after their 42-25 league win over Bronte (Bronte, TX).
