Texas High School Basketball - Arp knocked off by Troup
January 17, 2024: Arp, TX 75750 The Troup Tigers basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Arp Tigers to 49 in the Tigers league triumph on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 21-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jefferson for a 3A Region II District 16 contest on Friday, January 19. Troup will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 62-42 league win over Arp (Arp, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-4.
The Tigers (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the 3A Region II District 16 contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Elysian Fields ran past Waskom (Waskom, TX), 58-49, in a league contest.
