January 17, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87112 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), saw Valley's basketball squad wallop Manzano by a tally of 54-24.
With the victory, Valley improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Volcano Vista won 55-49 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Monarchs play the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Manzano will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 57-32 non-league win over Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM).
