December 5, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87107 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM), saw Valley's basketball squad overcome Highland by a tally of 47-33.
With the victory, Valley improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Bears in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. La Cueva lost 69-65 in their recent non-league challenge against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Highland will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 84-47 non-league win over Sandia (Albuquerque, NM).
