New Mexico High School Basketball - Valley tops Rio Rancho
November 29, 2023: Rio Rancho, NM 87124 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM), saw Valley's basketball squad knock off Rio Rancho by a count of 57-48.
With the victory, Valley upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Vikings host St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Sartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Sartans come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Rams play the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 30. Rio Rancho will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 53-32 non-league loss to Highland (Albuquerque, NM).
