January 27, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87114 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM), saw Valley's basketball squad hold off Cibola by a tally of 47-40.
With the victory, Valley improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 11-1. Hope Christian won 42-30 in their recent league challenge against Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Cougars play the Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. Cibola will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Ravens come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 47-38 non-league win over Manzano (Albuquerque, NM).
