Wyoming High School Basketball - East tops Laramie
January 17, 2024: Laramie, WY 82070 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the East Thunderbirds (Cheyenne, WY) and the host Laramie Plainsmen (Laramie, WY), saw East's basketball squad knock off Laramie by a tally of 50-42.
With the victory, East improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host South (Cheyenne, WY) to play the Bison in a 4A Southeast challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Bison come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. South lost 66-23 in their recent league challenge against Central (Cheyenne, WY)
Next up, the Plainsmen play the Central Indians (Cheyenne, WY) in a 4A Southeast challenge, on Friday, January 19. Laramie will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 66-23 league win over South (Cheyenne, WY).
