In Friday's league match, the host East Thunderbirds basketball team scored a good 58-41 triumph over the Central Indians.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds meet the Rock River Longhorns (Rock River, WY) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 30. East will attempt to better on its 14-2 season record. The Longhorns enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 39-32 non-league loss to Encampment (Encampment, WY).
