January 17, 2025: Livermore, CA 94550 Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA), 65-57 in a league match.
With the victory, Amador Valley upgrades its record to 16-3 on the year. The Dons travel to Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA) to face the Pirates in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 9-7. Pittsburg won 59-56 in their recent league match against Heritage (Brentwood, CA)
The Matadors now sport a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saint Mary's for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. Granada will face a Panthers squad coming off a 65-59 league loss to St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 13-5.
