California High School Basketball - Granada thwarts Foothill
January 10, 2025: Pleasanton, CA 94588 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) and the host Foothill Falcons (Pleasanton, CA), observed Granada's basketball team knock off Foothill by a score of 73-57.
The Matadors (7-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Monte Vista (Danville, CA). The Mustangs come into the East Bay challenge with a 12-6 record. In their last challenge, Monte Vista dropped by De La Salle (Concord, CA), 58-30, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Dougherty Valley Wildcats (San Ramon, CA) in a East Bay challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Foothill will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 79-75 league loss to San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA).
