In Friday's league contest, the visiting Cigarroa Toros basketball team scored a good 81-65 triumph over the Juarez-Lincoln Huskies.

The Toros (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Mustangs go into the 5A Region IV District 30 contest with a 21-9 record.

In their next game, the Huskies confront the Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 30 contest, on Wednesday, January 22.
