The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Nixon Mustangs (Laredo, TX) and the visiting Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX), observed Nixon's basketball team overwhelm Juarez-Lincoln by a margin of 85-6.

The Mustangs (18-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Mission (Mission, TX). The Eagles come into the 5A Region IV District 30 challenge with a 11-12 record.

In their next game, the Huskies battle the Palmview Lobos (La Joya, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 30 test, on Friday, January 10. Juarez-Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record.
