The Lincoln Lions basketball squad (Lincoln, RI), was crushed 65-37 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Classical Purple (Providence, RI)

With the victory, Classical advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Purple travel to Barrington (Barrington, RI) to meet the Eagles in a Division I battle on Sunday, January 19. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 8-3. Barrington lost 70-45 in their recent league battle against Tolman (Pawtucket, RI)

The Lions now own a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barrington for a Division I battle on Tuesday, January 21. Lincoln will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 60-40 league loss to Classical (Providence, RI). The Eagles record now stands at 8-4.
