In Friday's league contest, the host Cooper Jaguars basketball team scored a good 63-49 triumph over the Ryle Raiders.

The Jaguars (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY). The Colonels go into the non-league contest with a 13-2 record.

In their next game, the Raiders confront the Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY) in a District 33 contest, on Wednesday, January 22. Ryle will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record.
