January 17, 2025: Cadiz, OH 43907 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Harrison Central Huskies (Cadiz, OH) and the visiting Weir Red Riders (Weirton, WV), observed Harrison Central's basketball team overcome Weir by a margin of 53-44.
The Huskies (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Catholic Central (Steubenville, OH). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Catholic Central dropped by Heartland Christian (Columbiana, OH), 70-67, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Red Riders battle the Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 20. Weir will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Maroon Knights come into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 95-44 non-league win over Notre Dame (Clarksburg, WV).
