February 11, 2025: Wellsburg, WV 26070 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Harrison Central Huskies (Cadiz, OH) and the host Brooke Bruins (Wellsburg, WV), observed Harrison Central's basketball team edge Brooke by a score of 42-41.
The Huskies (7-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV). The Golden Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 5-14 record. In their last bout, Oak Glen was edged by Buckeye Local (Rayland, OH), 53-39, in a league bout.
With the loss, Brooke falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Bruins host Madonna (Weirton, WV) to play the Blue Dons in a non-league bout on Friday, February 14. The Blue Dons go into the bout with a record of 6-11. Madonna lost 71-48 in their recent non-league bout against Edison (Richmond, OH)
