With the victory, Maize advances its record to 6-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Seaman (Topeka, KS) to meet the Vikings in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 23. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 5-2.

The Hornets now own a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Derby for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail I battle on Tuesday, February 4.
