The Morrill Lions basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Minatare Indians to 40 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Edgemont for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. Morrill will confront a Moguls team coming off a 54-36 non-league loss to Faith (Faith, SD). The Moguls record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Minatare falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Indians travel to South Platte (Big Springs, NE) to battle the Blue Knights in a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 21.
