Georgia High School Basketball - Union Grove knocks off Stockbridge
January 17, 2025: McDonough, GA 30252 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) and the visiting Stockbridge Tigers (Stockbridge, GA), observed Union Grove's basketball team overcome Stockbridge by a margin of 79-68.
The Wolverines (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Carrollton (Carrollton, GA). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 2-14 record. In their last challenge, Carrollton dropped by Heritage (Newnan, GA), 46-42, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the South Atlanta Hornets (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 20. Stockbridge will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 62-57 non-league win over Bible Baptist Christian (Statesboro, GA).
