The Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades bounced the host Boyd County Spartans basketball squad by a final score of 53-26 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Renegades clash with the St. Mary's Cardinals (O'Neill, NE) in a D2 District 8 outing, on Saturday, January 18. Chambers/Wheeler Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Cardinals come into the outing with a 11-1 record after their 55-31 non-league win over Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] (Clearwater, NE).
