The Hickory Grove Christian Lions nipped the visiting Gaston Day Spartans basketball squad by a final score of 29-25 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Lions face the SouthLake Christian Academy Eagles (Huntersville, NC) in a NCISAA Metrolina outing, on Tuesday, January 21. Hickory Grove Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record.
