The George Washington Eagles bounced the host Tunstall Trojans basketball squad by a final score of 50-18 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Mecklenburg County Phoenix (Baskerville, VA) in a Piedmont outing, on Tuesday, January 21. George Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record.

The Trojans (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Martinsville (Martinsville, VA). The Bulldogs come into the Piedmont outing with a 6-9 record. In their last outing, Martinsville was overwhelmed by Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA), 56-13, in a league outing.
