In Friday's league contest, the visiting Montrose Meteors basketball team scored a close 37-36 win over the Lackawanna Trail Lions.

The Meteors (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Lake-Lehman edged MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA), 53-8, in a league contest.
