Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Montrose trounced by Elk Lake
December 28, 2024: Dimock, PA 18816 Elk Lake Warriors (Dimock, PA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Montrose Meteors (Montrose, PA), 59-28 in a league match.
With the victory, Elk Lake advances its record to 6-0 on the year. The Warriors travel to Carbondale Area (Carbondale, PA) to meet the Chargers in a Lackawanna 4 match on Friday, January 3. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 1-7. Carbondale Area lost 61-14 in their recent non-league match against Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA)
The Meteors now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest City for a Lackawanna 4 match on Friday, January 3. Montrose will meet a Foresters squad coming off a 51-27 non-league loss to Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA). The Foresters record now stands at 1-7.
