In Friday's league contest, the visiting Reading Rangers basketball team scored a big 62-34 win over the Maple Valley Lions.

The Rangers (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Springport (Springport, MI). The Spartans come into the Big 8 contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Springport was trounced by Concord (Concord, MI), 70-39, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Concord Yellowjackets (Concord, MI) in a Big 8 contest, on Thursday, January 23. Maple Valley will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record.
