North Carolina High School Basketball - Parkwood fells Piedmont

January 17, 2025: Monroe, NC 28112

The Parkwood Wolf Pack basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Piedmont Panthers to 35 in the Wolf Pack league triumph on Friday.

The Wolf Pack now have a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Central Academy for a 2A/3A Rocky River game on Tuesday, January 21. Parkwood will confront a Cougars team coming off a 78-46 league loss to Monroe (Monroe, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-14.

With the loss, Piedmont falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to West Stanly (Oakboro, NC) to confront the Colts in a 2A/3A Rocky River game on Tuesday, January 21. The Colts go into the game with a record of 10-7. West Stanly won 70-32 in their recent league game against Anson (Wadesboro, NC)
