The Fort Chiswell Pioneers basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Bland County Bears to 24 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pioneers now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Richlands for a non-league game on Monday, January 20. Fort Chiswell will confront a Blue Tornado team coming off a 52-27 non-league loss to Graham (Bluefield, VA). The Blue Tornado record now stands at 0-2.
