Farmington Tigers (Farmington, MN) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Rosemount Irish (Rosemount, MN), 57-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Farmington upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN) to play the Lakers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Lakers come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Prior Lake lost 63-62 in their recent league bout against Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN)

Next up, the Irish play the Eastview Lightning (Apple Valley, MN) in a AAAA Section 3 bout, on Thursday, January 19. Rosemount will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Lightning come into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 78-49 league win over Apple Valley (Apple Valley, MN).
