The Shakopee Sabers basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Farmington Tigers to 65 in the Sabers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Sabers now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeville North for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27.

The Tigers (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN). The Cougars enter the AAAA Section 1 contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Lakeville South was nudged by Eastview (Apple Valley, MN), 70-68, in a non-league contest.
